Another design I’m going to screen print. This one merges a snake skin into iron bolts. All this work is from my project at uni based on the poetry of William Blake, “Innocence and Experience” The poetry was written at the time of the industrial revolution and is all about how manmade industry, ambition and greed has corrupted that which was once innocent: childhood and nature. My project seeks to depict this merging of nature and industry through use of the metaphorical imagery woven through the poetry.
